教授

津田塾大学学芸学部数学科卒業。名古屋大学大学院工学研究科航空工学専攻修了、博士(工学)。1995年慶應義塾大学理工学部機械工学科助手、2001年より同助教授、2008年より同教授。専門分野は圧縮性流体力学、燃焼工学、コンピュータシミュレーション。2020年4月より日本航空宇宙学会第52期会長。2020年8月に「宇宙ビジネス共創委員会」を立ち上げ、日本航空宇宙学会における宇宙ビジネス向けへの支援を始める。2020年12月11日、SPACETIDEの協力のもとX-NIHONBASHI TOWERにおいて「宇宙ビジネス共創委員会」設立シンポジウムを開催した。

Prof. Akiko Matsuo earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics department from Tsuda College and a Doctoral degree in Astronautical Engineering from Nagoya University. She had been a research associate in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University since 1995 and an associate professor since 2001, and she has been a professor since 2008. Her areas of expertise are compressible fluid mechanics, combustion engineering, and computer simulation. She has been the 52nd President of the Japan Society for Aeronautical and Space Sciences since April 2020. In August 2020, she set up the "Space Business Co-creation Committee" to start supporting the space business at the Japan Society for Aeronautical and Space Sciences. On December 11 in 2020, a symposium for the establishment of the "Space Business Co-creation Committee” was held at X-NIHON BASHI TOWER with the cooperation of SPACETIDE.

A New Stage in the Japanese Space Industry Exploited by Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration

日本の宇宙業界が加速しています。21年度政府予算案は過去最高の4500億円となり、スタートアップ企業数も50社に到達、また学術界と産業界の連携も始まりました。宇宙産業が発展・拡大し、将来的な日本の成長戦略の柱となっていくために、産学官はどのように連携すべきか?各界のリーダーとともに議論をしていきます。

The Japanese space industry is accelerating with the government budget for FY 2021 reaching a record high of 450 billion yen and the number of start-up companies reaching 50. The collaboration between academia and industry has begun. How should industry, academia and government collaborate in order for the space industry to develop and expand, eventually becoming a pillar of Japan's future growth strategy? We will be discussing this topic with leaders in spanning various fields.
